Report: ‘Unethical Behavior’ Continues to Plague Financial Services Industry

A new survey of the U.S. and U.K. financial services industry finds that the upswing in financial markets in the wake of the global recession hasn’t done much to improve public perceptions of leading financial institutions – mainly because the underlying behavior of those working in the industry has worsened over the years.

JP Morgan:Impact Investing Offers Trillion Dollar Opportunity

A study by analysts at J.P. Morgan concludes that impact investing – which is intended to generate social good as well as financial return – could represent a highly-profitable trillion dollar market over the next decade. “In fact, we believe that impact investing will reveal itself to be one of the most powerful changes within the asset management industry in the years to come,” the study says.

Survey: U.S. Consumers Willing to Pay for Corporate Responsibility

Despite the economic recession, 59 percent of those responding said they plan to spend the same or more on products from socially responsible companies.
